NEW MEDICAL CENTER LAUNCHES NEW CODE OF CONDUCT
NYU Langone Medical Center has adopted a new Code of Conduct that applies to every “member” of the Medical Center—all trustees, faculty members, officers, full-and part-time employees, students, and volunteers. Written in the first person, the Code calls for each member to make a personal commitment to ethics and integrity, and includes 14 basic principles that are intended to serve as a guide in making ethical decisions.
The Code also includes specific information about reporting violation and concerns to the NYU Langone Medical Center Helpline (1-866-NYU-1212) as well as information about protection from retaliation.
