New Concepts

NIH Institutes set aside funding for specific areas of interest. This can be in the form of Concepts or Initiatives. Initiatives are special interest areas for which NIH Institutes set aside monies for RFA's, RFP's and investigator-initiated applications. Payments for Initiatives and Concepts may be above the stated paylines of the Institute.
