For almost two decades, the NYU Women’s Health Study has been committed
to studying the potential causes of common diseases in women in our society. When
the Study began in 1985, its goal was to identify the role of hormones, diet,
and other environmental exposures in the development of the most common cancers
in women, especially breast cancer. Today, the aim of the Women’s Health
Study remains the same. With the help of our valuable participants, the NYU Women’s
Health Study continues to conduct research aimed at the prevention of disease
in women
